I have had several teachers who all brought me something special.

I started taking dance classes in Amsterdam in 1995, with late Guruji Shrimati Rajamani. Her daughter-in-law, Mrs Henriette van Staal, took over her classes so I could continue.

Some time after my arrival in the South of France I found a new teacher, Jessminda Veeratherapillay.

When finally the occasion came up, I decided to spend some months in Tanjore, India, taking daily classes. This was under the guidance of Guru Sri Herambanathan.

In november 2013, I have performed my Arangetram. This is an on-stage performance where the student, after several years of training, is graduated. It is the first step to a professional career.

Today I continue my learning with Satishkoemar Myre-Makhan, based in Amsterdam, Holland.
